On March 22, 2012 Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino from the reality TV show “Jersey Shores” had his rep release a statement that he was not in drug rehab. A couple of hours later, Sorrentino recanted via Facebook saying that he was in rehab for an addiction to prescription medication.
Sorrentino had checked into the Cirque Lodge in Utah for in-house drug rehab. And, as with many drug and alcohol addiction treatment centers, they have strict rules for their clients. One of those rules is a dress code.
Specifically some of their rules include no muscle shirts, or garments with foul language on them. Another rule is no flashing of the abs that Sorrentino is known for doing.
One response to “Mike The Situation Sorrentino in Drug Rehab”
It’s so sad when these celebrities succumb to addiciton. Sure, it’s easy to criticize them for having “it all” and yet still struggling with drug problems. But what would anyone else do when they’re constantly in the spotlight, under to pressure to act a certain way? Whatever his reasons for using drugs were, I just hope he has a successful recovery. I wouldn’t wish addiction upon my worst enemy, let alone someone I don’t even know.
